One of these is Expo Pack, which is held annually in Mexico, attracting a large number of exhibitors and visitors to each edition. ALTECH maintained a presence at this year's event in Guadalajara in June through its official Mexican distributor. On display at the stand was a sophisticated linear labelling system (ALline) for the pharmaceutical sector.
This ALline model labelling system was equipped with a labelling head from the ALritma X range, which offers the ultimate in speed and precision. In this configuration, the system is able to apply wrap-around labels to pharmaceutical vials or small bottles at a rate of 160 products per minute.
The system is fed by a motorised rotating table specifically made for pharmaceutical products, which was installed upline, while downline the labelled products are deposited and accumulate on another motorised rotating table.
It is also fitted with a product spacer with timing screw, and a device for expelling nonconforming products (with a sensor to check that expulsion has been correctly performed), which directs the rejected products onto a parallel conveyor. Completing the system is a 10” touchscreen operator panel for management and supervision of all the labelling machine's components.
The ALline model for pharmaceutical products met with great success at Expo Pack, generating interest from the many visitors who were able to see the quality and efficiency of the system at work.
