This allows ALTECH to benefit from continuous international growth, bringing exciting new and emerging markets into play.
One market where ALTECH’s presence is firmly consolidated, on the other hand, is the United Kingdom, where subsidiary ALTECH UK handles the requests and requirements of the British market from up close. It is responsible for distributing the parent company’s range of packaging and labelling machines, providing support to local distributors and handling aftersales service across the UK.
Like its parent company, ALTECH UK participates in sector trade fairs every year, naturally concentrating on the British market. From the 25th to the 27th of September it attended the PPMA Show, the most important packaging trade fair in the UK, held at Birmingham’s NEC. This edition was particularly positive for ALTECH UK, thanks in part to the large stand which allowed the company to show off some of its most interesting labelling and coding systems. More specifically, the following solutions were on show:
- A special system for the supply and labelling of box nets, equipped with an ALritma T labelling head (with integrated print module) for the printing and application of labels
- An ALbelt system equipped with the new ALcode model for real-time printing and side application of labels on moving boxes
- A compact ALline C system for wrap-around labelling of cylindrical products
- An ALline E front/back labelling system for elliptical and rectangular products
The stand was a hit with visitors, who were able to see the systems in operation and receive advice on all their labelling requirements. The event also allowed ALTECH UK to make new and interesting contacts to further reinforce its image and presence within the UK.
